Philosophy

For one hour once a week, an awesome group of like-minded people get together to learn self development and practical philosophy.

We learn everything from stress management, to self realisation, but possibly the most important lesson we learn is common sense. It was the French philosopher Voltaire who, in the 17th century, said, “Common sense is not so common.”

Common sense begins and ends with one thing, and that is, reason. Reason is our ability to think, to question, to weigh up the pros and cons and project an outcome. The more we reason things out, the more reasonable we become. The more reasonable we are, the more common sense we have.

You will also learn how to:

  • Distinguish the intellect from the mind
  • Handle life’s challenges
  • Reduce stress and increase productivity
  • Gain success and happiness
  • Discipline and energise yourself
  • Be unselfish and give back unconditionally
  • Reduce ego and be selfless
  • Be fearlessness and forgive
  • Love
  • And much more…
